Kursen behandlar kunskapsutveckling på arbetsplatser med särskilt fokus på utbildningsverksamhet. Följande områden behandlas: Moment 1: Professioner och professionslärande (5 hp) Momentet behandlar de professionellas komplexa yrkesutövande i förhållande till krav på kontroll och styrning. Vidare fokuseras de professionellas yrkesutövande och kunskapsproduktion i förhållande till skilda synsätt för utveckling av verksamheterna. Moment 2: Lärande på arbetsplatser med fokus på utvecklingsarbete (5 hp) Momentet behandlar betydelse av arbetsplatsers struktur, komplexitet och förhållande till omgivande samhälle för lärande och utveckling. Vidare fokuseras lokal kunskapsutveckling samt hur lärande och reflektionsprocesser på arbetsplatser kan användas för att integrera forskning och praktik. Moment 3: Studie av förutsättningar för lärande på en arbetsplats (5 hp) I momentet genomför studenten en studie av en arbetsplats. Studien innehåller följande moment: · planering av datainsamling och analys av förutsättningar för lärande på en arbetsplats (kartläggning) · etiska aspekter på utvecklingsarbete · anpassad presentation av studien enligt de förutsättningar som gäller på arbetsplatsen · presentation av arbetet på ett seminarium och opposition på motsvarande arbete.

A minimum of at least 180 credits including 60 credits inom utbildningsvetenskapligt relevant område. It also requires 45 hp på avancerad nivå in scientifically relevant areas for educational science inklusive självständig arbete på 15 hp på avancerad nivå.
