Kandidatprogrammet i offentlig förvaltning vänder sig till dig som är intresserad av att arbeta med demokrati, välfärd och samhällsutveckling. Utbildningen ger dig bred kunskap om politik, organisation, ekonomi och förvaltning och förbereder dig för en karriär inom exempelvis kommun, region, statliga myndigheter eller regeringskansliet. Fokus ligger på statsvetenskap, sociologi och juridik samt företagsekonomi och nationalekonomi. I utbildningen uppmärksammas även olika maktrelationer i samhället kopplat till bland annat klass, kön och etnicitet. Utbildningen ges på distans med några träffar per termin i Borås.
