Overview
Sport Education is a scientific discipline in which knowledge is created about the processes through which the human being is being formed and changed under social, cultural, and historical circumstances within the field of sports. The sport pedagogy field deals with, for example, various aspects of upbringing, socialisation, education, learning, teaching, governance, organisation and leadership or other processes. Questions can be raised, for example, about how and why certain values, knowledge, and skills are developed, how and why they are maintained, and how they vary within and between generations, groups and individuals. The course aims to develop the student's knowledge and ability in leadership in different situations in the outdoors. The course integrates theories of leadership and group processes where reflection is a tool for developing leadership in the outdoors.
