Overview
Kursen ger en introduktion till juridiken, det juridiska materialet och juridisk metod. Principer och lagstiftning som styr hälso- och sjukvårdens verksamhet behandlas. Det allmänna förvaltningsrättsliga regelverket studeras. Offentlighet och sekretess behandlas särskilt. Grunderna i hälso- och sjukvårdslagstiftningen studeras. Dessutom behandlas hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalens yrkesansvar, inbegripande reglerna kring dokumentation i hälso- och sjukvården och dess särskilda betydelse för patientsäkerheten. Kursen behandlar särskilt datorstödd journalhantering och patientadministrativa system. I samband med detta introduceras informationssökning samt användning och värdering av information. Ett genomgående perspektiv är likheter och skillnader mellan hälso- och sjukvård i offentlig respektive enskild regi.
