The course treats theories and instruments of management control, including the desired and undesired effects of those instruments, as well as the designs and behavioural effects of management control. Sustainability and gender equality aspects are integrated in the course content, and the course covers management control in both private companies and in the public sector. Instruction is in the form of lectures, group work, oral presentations, and mandatory seminars.
