Kursen handlar om principer för ekonomisk styrning av företag och andra verksamheter. Ekonomistyrning innefattar planering, genomförande, uppföljning och reflektion/agerande. I kursen behandlas modeller och tekniker för utformning och konstruktion av effektiva informations- och ekonomisystem för olika strategier och situationer. Kursen fördjupar och integrerar budgetering, redovisning och icke finansiella styrmodeller. Kursen behandlar även ekonomisk styrning vid fördelning och uppföljning av ekonomiskt ansvar med både finansiella och icke- finansiella mått.
