Overview
This project course (Internship), is open to international (English speaking) students. During the Internship the student will, under supervision, preform a scientifically structured experimental or theoretical work in the field of marine sciences. **As a student, you have the responsibility to contact the researcher/supervisor. Choice of project assignment, as well as start and stop dates, are decided in a discussion with the supervisor.** If you are interested in doing an internship in one of the research groups at the Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg, you need to take the following steps: - Apply for this course and send documents proving your eligibility. Do not forget to submit upper secondary (high school) studies. - Communicate directly with a researcher to decide which project you may be able to attend. You find more information about the different research areas on: Marine sciences research. - Inform the student counselor about your project to get information on further steps needed to be registered.

Entry requirements
University studies of a minimum of 75 credits in the field of natural sciences, including at least 15 credits progressive specialization within the project field. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS
