Programmet ger dig kunskap att utveckla avancerad mjukvara genom programmering, systemutveckling och projektarbete i nära samarbete med företag. Du lär dig designa, bygga och testa digitala system samt förstå hur teknik påverkar samhälle och verksamheter. Utbildningen kombinerar teori med praktiska projekt där du utvecklar lösningar för verkliga behov. Mjukvara finns i nästan alla delar av samhället och är central för digitalisering, innovation och hållbar utveckling. Därför behövs ingenjörer som kan skapa robusta och effektiva system. Efter examen kan du arbeta som mjukvaruingenjör, systemarkitekt, produktutvecklare eller projektledare inom IT, industri och teknikföretag.
