<p>The Master’s programme in Music, Interpretation Diploma, is aimed at students who want to invest in a solo career as a singer or instrumentalist in Western art music.</p><p>The Master’s programme in Music, Interpretation Diploma is aimed at students who want to invest in a solo career as a singer or instrumentalist in Western art music.</p> <p>The artistic and professional level is very high and you will be given well-developed knowledge and skills in both musical study and interpretation. The examination is extensive; one solo concert/recital, one chamber music concert and one solo performance with a professional symphony orchestra. For the solo performance Malmö Academy of Music collaborates with Malmö Symphony Orchestra and Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.</p> <h3>Admission</h3> <p>You can apply for this programme via www.universityadmissions.se during the period 2 December 2024 - 15 January 2025. </p> <p>Admission to our programmes requires you to audition at the Malmö Academy of Music. General requirements for university studies in Sweden as well as a Bachelor in Music 180 credits or equivalent and successful entrance tests to the Master’s Programme in Music, Diploma. Exceptions can be made from the basic eligibility requirement ofpro ciency in Swedish for international students.
