If you are a citizen of other country outside EU/EEA and Switzerland you are only able to apply to the program during the period October-January. This is because the processing period for a student visa at the Swedish Migration Board requires longer time. International applicants outside the EU / EEA and Switzerland are usually required to pay an application fee. Make sure to apply to the program during the application period intended for you, so as not to pay the application fee more than once.

Entry requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree in human rights studies or another related field in social or political science, law or the humanities. Students with undergraduate degrees in the natural sciences, engineering or medicine may also be admitted subject to their ability to demonstrate a proficiency in human rights, for instance through professional or voluntary work or activity. 2. If English is not the applicant’s native language, his or her language proficiency is to be demonstrated by e.g. IELTS test, TOEFL test, Cambridge/Oxford test, a Bachelor’s degree from a study program taught entirely in English, or a passing grade in English 6 from Swedish upper secondary school. 3. The applicant must submit a CV, as well as a Statement of Purpose. Use the provided template at www.ehs.se where applicants are asked to answer a set of preset questions and upload the documents at universityadmissions.se.
