Overview
The electrification of the transport sector is happening now. Do you want to be part of the change? The Master’s Programme in All-Electric Propulsion Systems will help you develop expertise in electromobility and the engineering skills required to meet the demands of the evolving automotive industry. Uppsala University, together with partners from the industry, will provide a unique programme that offers specialised courses in electric vehicles. Uppsala University carries out research in the field of electricity, electromobility and renewable energy in close collaboration with the industry. You will get in touch with some of the biggest companies in the Swedish industry through study visits and guest lectures. During the programme, you will have opportunities for degree projects and project courses in industry and research groups. The city of Uppsala has set the goal to become fossil-free by 2030, which makes it the perfect place to experiment and develop new solutions within electromobility. The need for well-trained engineers and technicians with expertise in the electrification of the transport sector is booming - both in Sweden and abroad. You could become a project manager in consultancy companies, a design engineer in the automotive industry, a researcher at a university or research institute or a project coordinator in the public sector. The language of instruction is English.

Entry requirements
_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university, in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering or Engineering Physics. Also required is: * 25 credits in mathematics (including linear algebra); * 15 credits in electric circuit theory, power engineering, electric field theory and electronics; * practical experience of laboratory work as well as ability to use computer-based calculation tools, such as MATLAB. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries.
