Overview
The Master's Programme in Analytical Chemistry is a two-year joint Master's degree programme, internationally known as EACH - *Excellence in Analytical Chemistry*. At Uppsala University, chemistry courses are closely connected to world-leading research carried out within the university. Uppsala University consistently ranks among the top universities globally, with two of its eight Nobel laureates being chemists. It is also ranked among the top 100 worldwide by QS World University Rankings. The programme offers studies built on Uppsala University’s strong research profile that provides cutting-edge expertise in analytical chemistry. Chemical issues are found in most sectors. Analytical chemists hold key positions in addressing many future challenges related to, for example, monitoring new products and production methods, and environmental hazards, as well as developing methods for finding new biomarkers for diagnostic purposes. Through specialised training in experimental methodology, theoretical analysis, and scientific communication, graduates are well equipped to pursue careers in both academia and the private sector. The language of instruction is English.

_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree from an internationally recognised university. Also required is 60 credits in chemistry or chemical engineering and 20 credits in mathematics and/or physics.
