Overview
The Master’s Programme in Cultural Anthropology offers you the chance to study cultural anthropology in an international learning environment with students from all over the world. This will provide you with a rich learning experience and a global network that will be very useful in your future work. The courses are based on ethnographic research and are inspired by your teachers' own research experiences and insights. In cultural anthropology, we try to gain a better understanding of people. Why are we who we are? Why do we do what we do? How do people organise socially and politically in relation to issues such as gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, etcetera? The programme provides you with professional and analytical skills that are invaluable in areas such as international development, migration, business development, civil service, museums and tourism. After graduation, you will enter a broad labour market both in Sweden and internationally. You will also be eligible to step into a research career. The language of instruction is English.

Entry requirements
_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is 60 credits in cultural/social anthropology. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries.
