<p>Our understanding of the human body on a molecular level has in recent years advanced dramatically, and has led to the development of a number of new therapies and diagnostic tools for the effective treatment of diseases. The mission of the programme is to prepare students for a professional research career in this area - to advance the fundamental understanding of the human body and its diseases on a molecular level, or use the knowledge to develop novel diagnostic tools and treatments. </p>

Entry requirements
A Bachelor's degree or a professional degree worth at least 180 credits. At least 10 credits should be in mathematics and at least 20 credits in life sciences (such as cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, gene technology, or molecular biology). Proficiency in English equivalent to English B/English 6.
