<p>Folkhälsovetenskap handlar om att främja hälsa och livskvalitet, förebygga sjukdom samt att förbättra hälsosystem. Masterprogrammet i folkhälsovetenskap är multidisciplinärt och har ett globalt perspektiv. </p><p>Programmet har två inriktningar: - Folkhälsoepidemiologi. Inriktningen har fokus på tillämpad epidemiologi, för att utveckla dina färdigheter i att beskriva, analysera och reflektera över olika typer av folkhälsoproblem och utvärdera åtgärdsinriktade insatser samt i kritisk granskning av epidemiologiska studier. - Hälsofrämjande arbete och prevention. I denna inriktning ligger tonvikten på att tillämpa metoder för hälsofrämjande arbete och prevention, för att utveckla dina färdigheter i att planera, utveckla, genomföra och utvärdera hälsofrämjande och förebyggande interventioner på såväl individ som strukturell nivå. </p>

A Bachelors degree or a professional degree equivalent to a Swedish Bachelors degree of at least 180 credits in public health science, healthcare or other relevant social sciences subject area. And proficiency in English equivalent to English B/English 6.
