Overview
Masterprogrammet i idrott med inriktning fysiologi och medicin är för dig som redan har en kandidatexamen inom relevant ämnesområde och som nu vill fördjupa dina kunskaper ytterligare. Programmet ger dig djupare kunskaper inom fysisk aktivitet, nutrition och arbetsfysiologi. Under utbildningen får du också de teoretiska och praktiska verktyg som krävs för att utföra olika fysiologiska och biokemiska mätningar inom idrottsfysiologi. Utbildningen bedrivs i nära anslutning till den idrottsfysiologiska forskning som bedrivs vid enheten för idrott vid Örebro universitet. Studierna är utformade för att stimulera det kritiska reflekterandet samt förmågorna att söka och värdera information, självständigt följa kunskapsutvecklingen, genomföra vetenskapliga studier samt kommunicera egna studier muntligt och skriftligt. Eftersom det här är ett internationellt masterprogram ges alla kurser på engelska.

A first-cycle qualification comprising at least 180 credits, of which at least 90 credits are for specialised study in one of the main fields of study sport science, physiotherapy, medicine, or biomedical laboratory science. The applicant must also have qualifications corresponding to the course "English 6" or course "English level 2" from the Swedish Upper Secondary School.
