Programmet ger dig kunskap att planera och utveckla hållbara städer och livsmiljöer med fokus på funktion, form och livskvalitet. Du lär dig analysera hur sociala, ekonomiska och ekologiska processer påverkar den byggda miljön och arbetar med både teoretiska perspektiv och praktiska planeringsverktyg. Genom projekt utvecklar du din förmåga att skapa långsiktiga lösningar och kommunicera dem i olika sammanhang. Utbildningen möter behovet av hållbar samhällsutveckling i växande städer och föränderliga miljöer. Efter examen arbetar du ofta med fysisk planering, stadsutveckling eller strategisk analys i kommuner, myndigheter eller konsultföretag.
