Overview
The one-year Master’s Programme in Wind Power Project Management prepares you for a career in the global wind power industry by combining management and technology as well as natural and social sciences. Wind power development is rapidly increasing around the world seeking to meet renewable energy needs as well as achieve future low carbon economies and environmental goals. There is a strong demand for qualified professionals from a diverse range of technical and non-technical backgrounds to lead interdisciplinary wind power projects. During your studies, you will meet industry representatives, researchers and expert teaching staff from various academic fields essential to wind power development. You will be going on several field trips, using industry-specific software and studying real cases. Your classmates will come from all over the world which contributes to a dynamic study environment, and you can make friends for life. The programme focuses on the planning, development and management of wind power. You will study diverse topics such as Wind Turbine Technology, Economy, Acceptance of Wind Farms and Project Management. You will be able to build a broad network for future employment and internships. The programme is given on Campus Gotland in Visby, on the island of Gotland. Gotland is an excellent place to study wind power, being a forerunner in wind power development and generating more than 50 per cent of its electricity by wind power. The language of instruction is English.

_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be within engineering, science or social science. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries.
