Overview
I kursen behandlas forskning om hur elever i årskurs 4 – 6 utvecklar sina matematiska förmågor. Kursen behandlar också frågor om hur undervisning som bidrar till denna utveckling kan planeras, genomföras, varieras, anpassas och följas upp på ett sätt som möter individers och elevgruppers olikheter. Kursen behandlar även forskning om bedömning och betygsättning av elevers kunskaper, förmågor och prestationer i matematik samt relationen mellan bedömningen och undervisningen. Kursen behandlar de matematiska områdena samband och förändring, algebra samt sannolikhet och statistik. Tonvikt läggs under kursen på den studerandes egna matematiska förmågor och kunskaper inom dessa områden samt utvecklandet av ett matematiskt språk med fokus på matematisk notation.
