Kursen avser att ge fördjupade kunskaper om metod, kvalitets- och utvecklingsarbete samt utvärdering av socialt arbete i hälso- och sjukvård. I kursen behandlas vetenskapliga metoder som kan användas vid verksamhetsutvecklande ansatser av socialt arbete i hälso- och sjukvård. I kursen fokuseras på verktyg för att utvärdera och kvalitetssäkra det sociala arbetet såväl som verksamhetsutvecklande ansatser. Modeller för program- och individutvärdering diskuteras och problematiseras. Vidare diskuteras och problematiseras kvalitetsarbete i vidare mening, samt hur och varför systematiska förändringar skapas, utvecklas samt granskas i hälso- och sjukvård.
