Overview
Förståelsen av kemiska reaktioner är ett centralt tema inom organisk kemi. Det finns idag en rad experimentella tekniker och beräkningsmetoder för att belysa olika aspekter av organisk reaktivitet och selektivitet. Kursen behandlar grundläggande begrepp och metoder som används inom detta fält. Kursen kommer också att behandla hur man kvantifierar hållbarhet av organiska reaktioner samt strukturbestämning av organiska föreningar med hjälp av spektroskopi.

Admission to this course requires knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, and the course Advanced Organic Synthesis, 15 ECTS (KO7010). Also requires knowledge equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school course English 6.
