Overview
Denna kurs orienterar deltagarna i olika sätt att använda teori och metod i modern sociologisk analys. Kursens övergripande mål är att utveckla studenternas förmåga att förhålla sig till teoretiska och metodologiska redskap i moderna sociologiska forskningsstudier, med speciellt fokus på hur sociologiska analysen genomförs i dessa studier. Kursen är orienterad mot studier som berör ett övergripande empiriskt tema: det sociologiska studiet av arbetsliv och livsvillkor i vår tid, med speciellt fokus på betydelsen av sociala strukturer som klass, kön och etnicitet. Under kursen kommer deltagarna få diskutera de texter och samhällsproblem som tas upp både skriftligt och muntligt.
