<p>This elective package combines courses taught at the departments of Business Administration and Economic History. The first course provides a historical perspective to answer why financial systems are important, why financial crises do occur, and how we can increase the stability of financial systems. The second course focuses on alternatives for our current financial systems that can help to bring about a more sustainable future in terms of economy, society, and the environment.</p>
