Kursen behandlar individens motivation och lärande i arbetslivet. I modulen Teori, begrepp och perspektiv introduceras centrala teorier och begrepp om motivation och lärande i arbetslivet, med utgångspunkt i psykologiska och pedagogiska perspektiv. Vidare berörs olika perspektiv tillsammans med deras praktiska konsekvenser i arbetslivet. I modulen Tillämpning och reflektion sätts individens utveckling i ett bredare sammanhang genom en kritisk granskning av relationen till organisation och samhälle. Slutligen tillämpas teorier för att möjliggöra reflektion kring egna erfarenheter och utveckling i relation till ämnesområdet.
