Overview
Kursen är indelad i två moment. Moment 1 (6,5 hp): *Teori.* Kursen behandlar vektorfunktioner och rymdkurvor med fysikaliska tillämpningar. Dessutom introduceras begreppen partiell derivata, tangentplan, implicita funktioner och Taylorserier. Vidare studeras extremvärdesproblem, Lagrangemultiplikatorer, Newtons metod, multipel-, linje- och ytintegraler. Därefter behandlas tillämpningar på integraler i form av volymsberäkningar, bestämning av tyngdpunkt, arbete vid förflyttning i kraftfält och beräkning av flöde för vektorfält. Kursen avslutas med en studie av vektorkalkyl, Greens, Gauss och Stokes satser. Moment 2 (1 hp): *Datorlaborationer.*
