Overview
Kursen introducerar musikstudion och dess teknik som verktyg för musikskapande. Kursens första modul, Inspelningsstudion som verktyg, omfattar studioinspelningens förutsättningar och procedurer. I centrum står flerkanalsinspelning av musik med företrädesvis akustiska instrument. Den andra och tredje modulen, Studioinspelningar 1 och 2, innefattar planering, genomförande och redovisning av produktioner, inklusive iordningställande av studion, inspelning, mixning och mastering. Den fjärde modulen, Musikinspelningsanalys, introducerar analysmetoder för musikproduktion, liksom yrkesroller, arbetsmetoder och processer, nutida och historiska.
