Overview
This distance course is an interdisciplinary and specialized course which aims to provide<br> a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of historical development of Nordic<br> and European Bronze Age societies. Due to the course wide research field each theme<br> will be bound to be discussed through study cases. It includes also aspects of social<br> complexity, mode of production, consumption and distribution patterns, political<br> economy, warfare and rock art.<br> Relevant theoretical and methodological aspects with be comprehensively explored.

Admission to the course requires a Bachelor of Arts or the equivalent of 180 higher education credits, of which 90 credits within the disciplines of Archaeology or Classical Studies and Ancient History.
