I kursen behandlas grundläggande organisationsteori med tonvikt på tillämpning i offentlig sektor och människobehandlande organisationer. Kursen relaterar genomgående till organisatoriska fenomen kopplat till ett genus- och maktperspektiv. Särskild vikt läggs vid teorier om förändringar i organisationer och förståelse för förändringsprocesser samt samverkan inom och mellan organisationer. Kursens undervisningsformer består av föreläsningar, gruppövningar, laborationer samt seminarier.
