Overview
The course has two modules, Basic Concepts. Models and Theories and Organisational Analysis. Central to the first module are motivation and driving forces both at the individual and group level as well as how work groups are put together and function. The module also focuses on the prerequisites for leadership and the differences between management and leadership. A key element is to highlight and discuss leadership from different perspectives such as roles, tasks, and practical execution. Basic theories, concepts, and models of organisational behaviour are also covered. The second module, Organisational Analyses, focuses on the effects of leadership on the individual and the organisation as well as the basic conditions that make the leadership of groups and individuals possible.
