Overview
Kursens mål är att studenten ska förvärva kunskaper samt fördjupad förståelse för olika perspektiv på palliativ vård; professions-, närstående- och patientperspektivet. Kursen skall ge förutsättningar för att utifrån det egna specialistkompetensområdet samverka i det palliativa teamet med patient och närstående i centrum. Kursen utgår från WHO:s rekommendationer enligt vilka målet med palliativ vård är att förbättra livskvaliteten för patienter och familjer vid livshotande sjukdom.

Entry requirements
A Bachelor's degree or a professional degree of at least 120 credits in healthcare or medicine, or a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, is required. In addition, you need Swedish 3/Swedish level 3 and English 6/English level 2 with a minimum grade of Pass/E.
