Overview
I kursens första modul behandlas olika aspekter av pedagogiskt ledarskap, vilka relateras till elevers utveckling och lärande. Särskild uppmärksamhet riktas mot ledarskapets betydelse i arbetet med att utveckla sociala relationer och grupprocesser i skolan. I anslutning till detta innehåll bearbetas bakomliggande orsaker till konflikters uppkomst och strategier för att hantera dessa. Vidare behandlas aspekter av lärares professionella förhållningssätt i mötet med elever och deras vårdnadshavare. Det specialpedagogiska fältet introduceras i modul två och en skola för alla bearbetas och problematiseras. Centrala värdegrundsfrågor inom specialpedagogik, exempelvis inkludering på individ-, grupp- och organisationsnivå, problematiseras med hjälp av teorier inom området. Modulens innehåll inbegriper även specialpedagogiska behov hos elever med neuropsykiatriska svårigheter.
