Även djur blir ibland sjuka, och behöver medicin. Inom denna kurs berättar en veterinär om viktiga anatomiska och fysiologiska skillnader mellan våra vanligaste djurslag. Olika djurslag kan reagera olika på olika mediciner, och bryta ned dem med olika hastigheter. Vi tittar på de vanligaste sjukdomarna som drabbar såväl livsmedelsproducerande djur som sällskapsdjur, och hur de behandlas med olika mediciner. Därutöver diskuteras det regelverk som styr behandling och användning av läkemedel till djur.
