<p>Kursen är en fortsättning på Filosofi 1, där flera av filosofins centrala teman tas upp. Fortsättningskursen inleds med en delkurs som behandlar metafysik, samt hur olika teoretiker har sett på filosofins roll i förhållande till vetenskap. Den andra delkursen är en fortsättning på den filosofihistoria som lästes under termin 1, med fokus på 1900-talets filosofi, där man läser en del klassiska texter från de senaste 120 årens filosofi. Den tredje delkursen behandlar centrala begrepp inom den politiska filosofin och samhällsfilosofin, som t.ex. rättvisa, jämlikhet och rättigheter. Fortsättningskursen avslutas med ett individuellt arbete, där studenten själv väljer inriktning i samarbete med en handledare.</p><p>Delar av kursen kan komma att ges på engelska.</p>
