<p>Kursen utgår från ett omvårdnadsperspektiv på distriktssköterskans kompetensområde och behandlar grunderna för undersökningsmetodik och systematiska hälsobedömningar av vanligt förekommande tillstånd och hälsoproblem. I kursen ingår tekniker för att observera, palpera, perkutera och auskultera, med hänsyn till ett etiskt patientperspektiv. Vidare behandlas också samtals- och relationsaspekter i samband med undersökningar och hälsobedömningar. Dokumentation utifrån gällande lagstiftning ingår som moment i kursen. Jämställdhet, genusaspekter och etnicitet problematiseras i relation till undersökningar och hälsobedömningar. Ett kritiskt reflekterande förhållningssätt appliceras för att systematiskt kunna värdera, bedöma, åtgärda och utvärdera patienters hälsosituation.</p>
