Overview
<p>The course is aimed at those who want to learn how a PLC is structured and programmed. The five programming languages that comply with the international standard IEC 61131 are mentioned with a deeper focus on ladder diagrams, structured text and sequential function chart.</p> <p>The course uses two software, CoDeSys and Simumatik 3D. CoDeSys is used for programming and Simumatik 3D is used to provide a 3D system environment to control using the PLC programs. Both software are free and limited to PC so Mac is not supported on this course.</p>
