Overview
<p>How is espionage organised - and how does it work in practice? This course offers you a broad introduction to intelligence analysis. It covers cognitive biases, signals intelligence, institutional frameworks, and a hands-on exercise in staffing an intelligence centre.</p><p>On the course you will explore both the roles individuals and institutions play in intelligence, as well as the practical methods used in intelligence work. The course is divided into two 7.5 credit modules. Teaching is delivered through lectures, compulsory seminars, and exercises. Assessment is through two written assignments, one per module.</p>

Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires 90 credits in political science, peace and conflict studies or intelligence analysis including a degree project in one of these subjects, and 60 additional credits in entirely completed courses.
