The transition to an electric vehicle fleet entails an increased demand for competence in the field of electrical engineering. Engineers with expertise in power electronics and electric drive systems will play a central role in society's transition to electric vehicles.<br> This course conveys a holistic perspective regarding electric drive systems, where students gain in-depth knowledge of how different components, and their properties, affect the electric drive system. This course is one of the entry requirements for further advanced courses in electrical control and support systems. **Industry and academy** This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness. We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the entry requirements for the course.
