Kursens syfte är att belysa förskolans demokrati- och värdegrundsuppdrag relaterat specifikt till förskollärares uppdrag, ansvar och ledarskap. I kursen behandlas: - förskollärares ledarskap i barngrupp och arbetslag - demokrati- och värdegrundsaspekter i relation till förskollärares ledarskap - förskolans undervisning där lek, ämnesspecifikt innehåll och vardagliga aktiviteter vävs samman till en helhet - förskollärares ledarskap i förhållande till tradition, kultur och styrdokument - planering av utvecklingsarbete.

Förskollärarexamen om minst 180 hp inklusive självständigt arbete om minst 15 hp på G2E-nivå. Gymnasiets Svenska 3 och Engelska 6/A. Motsvarandebedömning kan göras.
