Overview
Kursen ska ge kunskap och förståelse i produktionsteknik liksom kännedom om grundläggande metoder och verktyg för att lösa och ständigt förbättra produktionstekniska problem. Produktionsteknik är under stark utveckling och är en viktig del i tillverkande företags förmåga att konkurrera på en global marknad. I kursen tar vi upp olika aspekter på produktionssystem som filosofin bakom Lean Production och olika Lean-verktyg. Principer för olika produktionssystem tas upp liksom moderna koncept som Industri 4.0, robotisering och automatisering är en viktig del i dagens produktion. I kursen behandlas även flöde i produktionssystem och hur detta kan modelleras och simuleras genom simuleringsverktyg som SIMIO.
