Overview
Vidareutbildning av lärare, VAL, är en kompletterande lärarutbildning som vänder sig till dig som är verksam som förskollärare eller lärare men saknar lärarexamen. I VAL studerar du samtidigt som du arbetar i förskolan eller skolan. Studietiden beror på avsedd examen, tidigare meriter och lärarerfarenhet. För att vara behörig till VAL krävs en lärartjänst med undervisning i det ämne du kan nå lärarexamen i samt undervisning inom de årskurser som examen avser. Lärarexamen måste kunna nås med maximalt 120 hp studier. Vid Högskolan Dalarna finns för närvarande inte förskollärarprogrammet inom VAL.
