Moment 1: Allmän ämnesintroduktion 7,5 hp Momentet inleds med en översikt över psykologi som vetenskap samt psykologiska forskningsmetoder. Momentet ger en bred orientering i psykologins teorier och tillämpningsområden. Särskild vikt läggs vid att ge grundläggande kunskaper avseende psykologiska processers biologiska grund, motivation, emotion, psykologisk utveckling, stress och hälsa. Moment 2: Personlighetspsykologi 7,5 hp Momentet ger en introduktion till klassiska teorier och en orientering om betydelsefulla forskningsområden inom personlighetspsykologi. Under kursen behandlas centrala teman såsom självuppfattning, självförtroende och självreglering, liksom de klassiska frågorna om personlighetens beståndsdelar och om interaktionen mellan person och situation.
