Kursen ger en introduktion till den beteendevetenskapliga innebörden av psykosocial arbetsmiljö och dess betydelse för individ, organisation och samhälle. Relationen mellan arbete och individers hälsa diskuteras liksom förutsättningar och former för hälsofrämjande arbetsmiljöarbete i organisationer. **Modul 1: Psykosocial arbetsmiljö, 7,5 hp** Under modulen diskuteras arbetsmiljön i dess helhet. Fokus riktas mot empiriska studier och teoretiska antaganden inom området och som berör psykosocial arbetsmiljö. Riskfaktorer för ohälsa samt faktorer som främjar god hälsa och välbefinnande diskuteras. **Modul 2: Fördjupning av psykosocial arbetsmiljö och arbetsmiljöarbete i organisationen, 7,5 hp** Under modulen behandlas kunskaper om faktorer i den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och hälsopromotion. Konsekvenser för individ, organisation och samhälle diskuteras liksom även förutsättningar för arbetsmiljöarbete i organisationer.
