Avlagd psykologexamen (enligt 1982 års studieordning eller senare bestämmelser. Läkarexamen med specialistkompetens i psykiatri eller barn- och ungdomspsykiatri. Socionomexamen. 50 timmar individualterapi eller 120 timmar gruppsykoterapi hos legitimerad psykoterapeut.Efter avslutad examen (som beskrivs i grundläggande behörighet) ha varit yrkesverksam under minst två år och under den tiden på minst halvtid ha tillämpat psykoterapeutiskt arbete under handledning av legitimerad psykoterapeut. Denna handledning ska ha skett regelbundet och avse handledning i psykoterapeutiskt arbete. Svenska B/Svenska 3 och Engelska A/Engelska 6 med lägst betyget godkänd/E.Under studietiden ha möjlighet till psykoterapeutiska arbetsuppgifter om minst 50 %. Annan motsvarande examen.För socionomer eller för sökande med annan motsvarande examen krävs Grundläggande psykoterapiutbildning.
