<p>Syftet med denna kurs är att förbereda dig för det självständiga examensarbetet och evidensbaserad forskning inom medicinsk vetenskap. Kursen ger dig fördjupad kunskap, färdighet och värderingsförmåga inom kvantitativa forskningsmetoder. </p><p>Det huvudsakliga innehållet i kursen omfattar forskningsfrågor, olika studiedesign, datainsamlingsmetoder och mätprocesser inom kvantitativa forskningsstudier i det medicinska vetenskapsområdet. Kursen ger dig verktygen för att kritiskt värdera tillförlitligheten hos kvantitativa studier och biostatistik. Du kommer att arbeta i grupp för att utföra statistiska analyser och genomföra olika hypotesprövningar. </p>

Entry requirements
To be admitted to the course, students must have a qualification relating to biomedical analysis, occupational therapy, audiology, language pathology, physiotherapy, nursing or radiology nursing corresponding to a Bachelor's degree (180 credits including a degree project of 15 credits) or equivalent expertise in medical science. Introduction to Research and Development Work in Medical Science, Second Cycle (MEVP11, 7.5 credits) or equivalent.
