Overview
The course aims to provide knowledge of Scandinavian geology with an emphasis on creating a deeper understanding of large-scale geological structures. In addition lectures on the geology of the Baltic Shield and comparative studies of the geology of other continents as we as several field studies. Entry requirements
Admittance to the course requires at least 150 credits within the field of Earth Sciences including successful completion of a mineralogy course (GVG210 or its equivalent) and a petrology course (GVG270 or its equivalent).
