Overview
<p>This course provides you with an orientation in some of the main lines of development in modern linguistics and translation studies, in particular in the Slavic languages and the subject area of Russian. You also gain general and theoretical knowledge within your selected main specialisation. You read manuals and articles comprising roughly 500-750 pages in Russian, in one of the Scandinavian languages, or in English. The course includes intensive and extensive reading of a total of about 750 pages of Russian literary prose.</p> <p>The course is taught in English and Russian.</p>

The requirement for admission to the course is a Bachelor's degree and 90 credits in Russian at first cycle level or the equivalent knowledge.
