Overview
The earth observation techniques and satellite missions enable significant contributions to geoscience by better understanding of climate change and geohazards. There are many indications of climate change through studying essential climate variables (ECVs) such as sea-level rise, ice and glacier melting, land motions, etc. Hence, the aim of the course is to provide knowledge of advanced methods and techniques of satellite missions and their applications in different fields of geospatial information science such as geography, geodesy, geophysics, geodynamics, tectonics, meteorology, hydrology and oceanography.
Admission scores
Entry requirements
English language proficiency equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course 6/B. A first-cycle qualification comprising at least 180 credits in relevant subject of the Master programme in GIS and applied geography 60 credits or Master programme in Geospatial information science 120 credits, or a corresponding qualification from abroad.
