Overview
En översikt kommer att ges över ett antal olika filosofers uppfattningar och teorier om vetenskapen men med särskilt fokus på Popper, Kuhn, Lakatos och Feyerabend. Kursen behandlar hypotesprövning och hypotetisk-deduktiv metod, begreppen 'orsak', 'förklaring' och 'naturlag' samt observationer och experimentella data. På kursen kommer vi även att diskutera i vilken utsträckning vetenskap kan göra anspråk på att ge en korrekt bild av verkligheten och vad målet med vetenskaplig forskning är eller bör vara.
