<p>Learn to work with climate models and climate solutions. Develop methods for collecting and analysing environmental data. Or plan how best to make use of resources such as wind and water. We will equip you with tools that can be applied in various contexts and locations around the world.</p><p>During the programme, you will learn about processes related to soil, water, the biosphere, and the atmosphere, as well as how these interact with one another and with humans. You will gain practical knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), climatology, ecosystems, and biodiversity, as well as the use of aerial and satellite imagery for environmental monitoring. </p><p>You will learn how to analyse changes over time and space, for example, in different landscapes, ecosystems, and climates. The programme provides you with the knowledge to model the future climate and find solutions for adapting to climate change. </p><p>The studies include lectures, laboratory work, excursions, fieldwork, seminars, and independent projects. Theory and practice are integrated on different scales, local to global, as well as in different locations. You will gain hands-on experience with various measurement methods and participate in several excursions, ranging from one-day trips to multi-day field studies. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a longer international excursion. In recent years, this trip has been to Rwanda. </p><p>Throughout the programme, you will engage with researchers and gain insight into cutting-edge research projects.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
