<p>Do you want to develop models to understand our world and how it works? Or to solve problems in for example medicin, biology, chemistry or economy? Then this program can be something for you.</p><p>The aim of the theoretical physics programme is to give solid insight into and competence in the way physicists deal with and solve problems, using methods that find applications in a wide range of topics far outside traditional physics, e.g., chemistry, medicine, or economics. If you follow this programme you will be well qualified to continue your studies with a view to a doctorate in physics/theoretical physics, or equally well to continue with studies in other sciences. You will also be well qualified for modern professional life, since experiences in modelling is in demand on the labour-market.</p>
